Building a Community

Residents of Flinders Wharf have a sense of community and pride in their home.

The Owners Corporation Committee is active in connecting residents and enhancing that community feel, by:

• Providing points of contact and communication for residents (for example, regular Flinders Wharf newsletter);
• Organising events and activities in and around Flinders Wharf (for example, walking group, Tai Chi classes, book group, seasonal events such as Christmas/New Year, Moomba, Melbourne Racing Carnival);
• Supporting local causes (for example, the Variety Club, and the Mission for Seafarers, which is located next door to Flinders Wharf).

An intranet site is available to all residents, owners, committee members and management, enabling them to keep up with news at Flinders Wharf, find out information on social events, contact management, and access a library of relevant documents for the building and apartments.
